Day 17 Friday July 22

Today was a rough day for us! We got up early (around 7:30 am) and went to the train station only to find out that the trains and buses were all on strike. After scrambling around for an hour or two trying to find another means of transport, we finally came across an independent bus company who had room for us on a five o clock bus. We basically spent the day hanging out at an internet cafe eating until it was finally time to leave. We arrived in Florence around 9:30 pm and then had a 20 minute walk to our hotel. After we checked in we got a quick bite to eat and then called it an early night.

The toilet at the bus station...no comment.
